Well AWP is quite new, and will need some time for the site to get updated, but the thing is i dont see the character list in my profile updated and i dont see any package in the client that belongs to VG. Its like Client is not syncronised with vanguard game client

I already posted this in another thread but I will repeat myself.
By looking at the console window when Vanguard runs with Curse Client, I can say that after GU 3.2 patch Curse Client stopped updating Curse database. All my toons also outdated to the pre-patch dates.
It happens almost every major game update. Seem like VGClient after update being altered in such a way that programs like Curse Client have to be reworked to be able to update information again.

is there any patch planned for the curse client to make it working again?

Yeah, there's been a long delay because I'm locked up on another project and I'm the only one who can do it. I'm hoping to have it updated this week.

In Vista 64 bit i don't even get a console window, i wish i had so i could see if it even tried to do anything :/ The client installs fine and starts, shows news and so but i cant get any reaction on the vanguard function. Anyone figured out if there is a way?

For me it didn't work before Gu3 either so i guess its vistas fault.

I think we need another update for client, since there was Vanguard update on Jan 31. Client v13 still not updating curse database.

im using client 0.13.1 and vista64

please update after GU4 is released. a lot of items have changed in game (maybe 30% or more) already. with GU4 allmost all items in game change again. all greens will be upped to blue, all named drops buffed, etc.

if it curse will never update again, the data will be worthless soon and why check the db then?

Agree, that the update is changed so that it works with GU#4. This would make a lot more sense.

I really used this site and it's tools a lot at the start of my VG life but it's been a while since there have been any updates and things have become out of date. I rate this site and all that the Guys here are doing but it's only as usful as the content.

Please have a look at getting this working soon.

I'm sure there will be people that will be interested and willing to continue the project.

The Curse database of Vanguard stuff is getting hopelessly out of date, to the point where I dont usually even check it anymore. Thats a shame considering how much good 'hard' info used to be here.

And yes, if the original dev isnt able to continue development of it, please see if it can be released open source. I'm sure someone would take up the reins then. (Would love to myself, though I doubt I really have the time for it).

Forget it guys, these fucktards don't give a DAMN about Vanguard any longer. They have not done a THING for our game in at LEAST two MAJOR updates, yet they patch curse for WoW IN ADVANCE of a game patch.

A shame as I believe this site was one of the turly one of the best for Info AND could still be to be honest. But they have given up and no longer want this for VG.
