Saving Auctioneer information

I'm planning on formatting my PC soon and I was wondering if it is possible to save my auctioneer data. I have an external drive to back it up on, I'm just not sure which files I would have to save so that I could retain the information I've built up over the last while.

not really sure there is a point... as every time you scan it more or less overwrites.. and eventually you hit close to 90% and time to wipe it clean and restart... if anything, you'd want to save the stuff in the WTF/Account//SavedVariables folder.

I will disagree with the other prior respondant to say: there is very much a point to saving all the accumulated data - for Auctioneer and other mods. As he pointed to, you will want to copy the contents of your WoW data folder at {WoW Install folder}/WTF/Account//SavedVariables.

Once you have your new PC up,WoW installed, Addons installed and have logged in at least once, you can copy some or all of the data files back over.

Hope that helps.

I would just copy the whole WTF folder so you have everything. Then when you reinstall just replace the new wtf with the old one. All you mod settings and everything will be back to what you set them to.
