Are there any addOns that will display the status of your ventrilo such as who just signed in and who is on?

A Logitech G15 keyboard can do it. There are some Vent overlay programs that are not specific to WoW that are lurking about. I'm not sure but I think I remember that the overlay program in Xperl can work with Vent.

I've gone to the link and downloaded ventrilo but it isn't in a file so I cant use it in my addons. I tried to put it in a file but it wouldn't work.

Ventrilo is a Stand alone program that runs outside the World of Warcraft enviroment,  All you have to do is Download and run the install.  You should then have a Ventrilo Icon on your desktop to start the program.
