I download the addons and i log onto the WoW and they arnt working and the addon botton that people say shows up on the screen before you enter world isnt there either. what do i do

when you log into WoW, where you are in the Realm page, the place where your toon(s) is on the RHS of the screen, there is a button at the very bottom left of your screen that says addons

it will open a window like this

check enable all, if you have doubts as to whther you're mods are up to date, check the box that allows out of date mods.

First let's check whether you not only downloaded them, but also installed them the right way.

check How To Install Addons first. If you still don't have the addon button after you followed the steps mentioned here, then please post again (but I think your prob should already be solved by following the steps)

I'm having the same problem with my add ons, i did follow the guide mentioned and also downloaded the add ons i wanted to my desktop first then extracted them to the Interface/addon folder. When i log into the game the addon icon is still not there? Also when i downloaded the curse program i am getting a failed to register error message and or update failed error? Not sure if this helps, but the blizzard add ons are showing in the same folder i extracted the files to.

Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated,

ok im having almost the same problem,i had curse clint installed b4 i had all my addons, but i was having lag issues so i did wow repair and now my addons are gone i tried to delete curse clint then re do it and that did not work i keep getting fialed wow grant write to interface /addon manually i dont know how or what that means i dont see where it say in any of my folders wow interface file to set it up or to even change the mod i need answers if this even makes since to some one help
