i just downloaded a GPS addon that sucked and got in the way of my game

how do i dlete it

Go to your wow \ interface \ addons folder. In there try to find the folder from the addon that you want to remove and delete that folder + it's contents. That should fix the job.

ya i dont get how to delete them...it just says new profile created or something like that

Do what Menmo said.
Also you can simply disable any addon at the character screen in wow.
Choose your character, then look at the bottom left button for ADDONS, clcik it and you see all addons available for that character. Your choices are to individually enable or disable any addon you wish. Also a button is there to disable ALL addons and dont forget, even if an addon is out of date, many still work just fine, so you can enable them by clicking i think its called ...Enable Out of Date Addons? not sure about that name but just look at the buttons, they are all self explanitory.
Always update addons you KNOW you like and use, after a big patch. (Sometimes they need a few days for the author to update them).
