I had to replace my computer. My old one had an addon that showed an arrow to (my) corpse, distance to the corpse, and estimated time. I can't locate that addon now, but would like it on my new computer!
Thanks\
It was a waypoint setting in cartographer.

Cartographer has a plugin that allows you to set Waypoints. I'm *pretty* sure you can set an option to automtically set a waypoint to where you died when you die. It adds a slight convenience to the whole process, but really without any addons, your minimap will still show you an arrow/icon directing you to your corpse.

And your world map shows you exactly where your corpse is, making a "corpse locater" addon pretty foolish, and not very memory conservative.

considering the age of the game at this point, and expanding capabilities of computers to hold more and more memory, memory usage shouldn't be a problem/consideration as long as you've got at least 1 or 2 Gigs of RAM. it is a point worth mentioning though.

I have pleanty of memory and processor speed. This added a very large arrow directly above the 'ghost', along with distance to the corpse, estimated time to reach it. It was kinda nice to not have to keep referring to the mini map.
Thanks

Wonder if TomTom has this capability. I have it for quests but I never found the need to corpse location, since WoW has one build in...

Use the world map and mini map.. this is a BUILT IN function... you have an arrow on your minimap pointing to your corpse..

how do you know you've crossed the line of laziness? when you're willing to spend 5 days looking for a way to avoid moving your eyes a few inches up and to the right.
i'm partially razzing on you, because yes i have used that cartographer functionality in the past.
