Intellicast... hrmmm

Hey! So I've been looking for a mod that will:

1) If an unfriendly target is targeted and I cast a beneficial spell it will cast it on the unfriendly target's target (presumably a friendly target or myself)

2) If a friendly target is targeted and I cast a damage spell it will cast it on the friendly target's target (presumably an unfriendly target)

Some people have suggested macros and Kaythreedee suggested "Mecaire's Macrotexter" - this is exactly what I am looking for EXCEPT it has many bugs, doesn't work for Bongos (which I have), and involves macros (which I am not very good at dealing with)
So then, I was looking some more and found "Intellicast," this is also exactly what I was looking for but unfortunately it is out of date.

If anyone could find a mod remotely close to Intellicast that is currently updated I would be VERY THANKFUL!!!

Thanks in advance!

No addon smart targeting since 2.0. Use macros, they can do all you've described.

Although it's a right ballache to set up macros for everyone one of your spells, it can be worth it in the long run to get the extra functionality. To give you a headstart, here's a copy of my "Flash of Light" macro:

 #showtooltip Flash of Light
/cast [modifier:alt, target=player] Flash of Light
/stopmacro [modifier:alt]
/cast [help] Flash of Light; [target=targettarget] Flash of Light

Does exactly what you were saying with the added benefit that if I hold ALT at the time then it'll cast on me.

To make it work with offensive spells, change the "help" to "harm".

so I would have to create a macro for EVERYONE of my spells? Great...

also-
There is only one line in this macro I don't understand:

 /stopmacro [modifier:alt]

Doesn't this *stop* the macro permanently so that the macro WILL NOT go on to the next line, "/cast [help] Flash of Light; [target=targettarget] Flash of Light" ?

Thank You for your help, by the way

It does indeed, but only if you're holding the ALT key (that's how I had to work around it so I could still alt self-cast).
