I am an enchanter, and when 4 items drop from a boss, and 5 people roll need/greed on stuff, your screen goes crazy with those messages. I am looking for a mod that simply displays a list of who greeds/needs on things so that I know what to need for D/E and what to pass on.... I am willing to attempt to make this, and have a little programming experience, but I don't know quite where I would start... what language its written in, what I should use to compile, etc etc...

if someone knows of a mod that does what i'm looking for, that would be appreciated. Otherwise, if someone was willing to show me the basics or a place I can learn the basics on my own... that would also be appreciated

I don't know of such an addon, but what I do myself as a chanter, is telling the group (if they don't know it already) that I am a chanter and that I will press Greed to diss items. If anybody has a need, then they just press need, else they pass, simple as that.

not sure if its exactly what you are looking for but loothog handles rolls by making a nice list of who rolled what.

I'm looking for the step before that mod, instead of tracking the rolls, I want to track if they choose need or greed, and I try to suggest people pass or need, but pug's are dumb sometimes....

as I said, if it doesn't exist, and someone is willing to send me to a good resource for learning how to create mods, it shouldn't be that hard to create a mod that watches for " passed on " " rolled need on " or whatever

Its a different kind of loot frame... that shows who has rolled what for which item!

I was going to recommend Xloot but it seems tek recoded part of it. Does this rewrite look a lot like Xloot?

It looks like XGroup Loot... so yep very similar.

It was reported that Xloot was no longer under development, but I've seen several updates for it.
