For some reason, i just downloaded the newest full suite of auctioneer and it wont load in game. I have it enabled in my addons at the character screen. But when i click on the auctioneer it only gives me the normal 3 tabs and nothing more. Now i just came back from being gone for 4 months. Just patched up, and also added BC to my account. So i dont know if maybe i should reinstall the game or what... I downloaded the BC 10 day trial which i think gave me all the game files. I didnt install my BC CD's cause when i put the 1st CD in, it just asked me to "Play Burning Crusade", nothing about installing. I dont know if this has something to do with it or not. I loved my auctioneer when i was playing before, it was an indispensable part of my gameplay. Now it wont work.

Someone please help a WoW-starved player looking to get back into his FIX!!

Did you type /actioneer load , to make it load?
As it is a huge addon it doesnt load unless you ask it too.

Yeh i did, but now its working. It wasnt the load function either. When i was looking at my addons, there where 4 or 5 of my addons that had a "Grey" check mark in them instead of the golden arrow. So i turned them all off, then rechecked them and the arrow went golden. I then entered the game and the addons worked. So something wasnt right but it is now.

A grey checkmark simply means that the addon is not "on" all characters... as you can individually select your character and define what addons you want or don't want to load...

ie: why load shaman totem addons on a warrior character... you wouldn't.. checking it on ONLY on the shaman would mean that when looking at "ALL" addons, it would have a grey checkmark
