Is anyone besides myself noticing that the installer is not working properly? I have uninstalled it and reinstalled but when I click the link on the addon I want it doesnt appear to download the addon. Perhaps its just my system but it would be nice if to know if its just my system or others as well.

my is working ok it was being a little buggy earlier not connecting to curse and everything, but it works now.

I'm having the same problem. I download the installer and then after I've installed it I was expecting a pop-up window for the configuration and whatnot but nothing happened. I've tried re-installing it several times but whenever I click on the CurseClient.exe file it just acts like it's doing something for a few seconds and then nothing happens. It doesn't open in the system tray and I don't see any new processes in the Task Manager either...Can anyone help?

I was having the same problem, closed all my windows and found a text box behind everything asking if I really wanted to download, then it went ahead, so look behind your browser and see if the text box poped back there....

I'm having a similar problem....but the solution isn't easy like that....especially since I havn't figured out the solution lol....

The box used to pop up on me, but I clicked the "Do not show again" box, so it won't show up anymore, and it won't download at all either...I had hoped that I didn't have to click the "OK" button everytime....guess not....So I looked around my browser (I use OPERA), but I can't find anything to allow the popup to come back....

Any ideas?? (and no, I really don't like the idea of changing browsers for just this 1 website :)

I may say you are not the only one with install problem, got my own.When you shut down the computer everything is fine and also playing addons are working fine, but after starting computer its shows some kind of errors about ''curse'' install.

I have downloaded Atlas, Cartographer, and quest helper.  I see them in my WOW Addons.  They will not function when I play.  Are there instructions on how to get them into action?

I am getting "An unknown error occured contacting the server"...   trying to download manually getting 3.04 kb download rate.....   geesh.

hrdwyrd, the system at this point is overloaded with people trying to do the same exact thing you are. Be patient, it will go through eventually!

Where is this Curse installer/client I keep hearing about?  I don't see it anywhere on the site.

Yeah I am seeing alot of addons in my interface folder but Im missing a large chunk of them in my Curse Client folder

i am having several problems with all this, including i can not log on to my account (it's possible i was trying to use wrong password, it didn't say that, so i'm not sure) i asked for new password to be sent and it has not been. so i created new account to try and figure it all out.

i tried manually downloading since none of the autoinstall buttons work, but that didn't help. i took someone elses advice and i tried uninstalling curse client and reinstalling it. but it won't install, there is some problem with it. they say several times throughout the forums that too many people are trying to do it at once and that is the problem, but right now, it is 6 a.m., it was 5 when i started and i seriously doubt that is the problem at this time of day. not only that, but i have been trying to resolve some of these issues for a couple weeks now.

so, i am getting very frustrated and don't know what to do next. do i just need to forget about curse? is there any actual help here? do you have to be a computer programer to be able to get it to work? i see a lot of problems posted, but not much help, and those offering help there is no way to know if they even know what they are talking about.

At last you can download it... My download fine... but then when I press Run to install the new curse... a window pop up saying file corrupted and not downlaoding propekly...

So now I have no curse and no addons...

Bleah, i think everyone's hitting Curse since the patch... my Curse client won't login rigth now - but I can login to the site w. no problem...

so its just some overload problem or what?

mine cant get a connection to the server either.. quite anoying :P

I have been getting invalid login since the patch. I went in and reset my password in case that was the problem I went in and deleted all the old addons and when that didnt work I even went as far as uninstall the client and d/l a fresh copy and tryed installing again, no good Im still getting invalid login.
