My guild is just starting to get into raiding instances. The biggest question is what is the best way and most fair way to know who gets what loot first. The DKP isn't really what we are looking for since alot of members help other guildies with alot of other things other then raids, and would like to take that in consideration. If anyone knows of a easy system either be a addon that does the tracking for me or a speedsheet that i have to try to maintain (least prefered) then please place it on the FarBeyondInsanity@msn.com. Depends mate what kind of raids you are gonna do...with 10man raids like Kara and ZA Master Loot is enough, but with 25man you need some sort of bidding system...sure you can have ML on at the 25man raids but its easier with dkp system for 25man

My guild uses the original SuicideKings loot distribution system - which I have updated to work for WoW 3.02 / WoLK.

I will be taking over that project here on curse - just waiting for JoeHunk (the creator) to add me before I can distribute the updated version.

main spec only roll. highest roller wins.

no main spec? open rolls to off spec users.

no off spec? d/e and put the mats into the guild bank.

Suicide Kings is a decent and fair loot distribution system.

Overall, it's much more simple and transparent than many DKP type systems.
