Now, I'm sure other people have had trouble with this illegal operation message at "Exception c0000005 caught at 1000F592" So I'm wondering if there is any ideas as what the trouble may be? now I have vista, but I can't "select Windows XP SP2 mode" as Zyuu selected for some reason since instead of prefrences when i right click I get personalize which pretty much only has to do asthetics. So I don't know what to do here, besides wait for the problem to be fixed, and I keep getting told that I'm part of the "now" generation which I guess means i need everything done with now lol. but neways, any ideas on this at all?

I have Webroot Spyware protection, as well as trend Micro Antivirus 2007, and then the normal windows firewall

Unfortunately Trend Micro has a bug in their tmlsp.dll. It's very likely this is your issue. I've been in contact with them and someone from the forums sent me a copy of the tmlsp.dll for analysis and a workaround. Just haven't had any time to look at it.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars had the same issue. It's fairly well known. I've tried 2007 and it doesn't crash with the latest version so check if you can update it and let us know how that works out.
