investigate it based on user reports?

I maintain a mod collection called "PiraMod." After my most recent release, attempting to download the latest version results in this message:

"This project and its downloads are currently unavailable while our moderators investigate it based on user reports."

Older versions can still be downloaded.

Why?

You have an executable within the zip file of some form, either a .exe, .scr, .bat, etc.

Yes, it always has been a .exe. But this is the first time I have seen this message when trying to download the new version. Can this be fixed?

working now! thx :D

It's just a file approval process we set up a month or so ago because of the rash of keyloggers at the time. We manually scan and approve any files uploaded that contain executables.

It's for the safety of the community although we're always working to improve the process. We'll have some improvements for it around the end of the month that should hopefully speed things up substantially on the approval end.

After problems with the upload server yesterday, I finally got my mod update uploaded and now I'm getting the same message that piranther did, but I don't have any executable files in my zip at all - just two LUA files, one XML, and one TOC.

Are we maybe seeing this because of the media server problems yesterday?

Thanks.

Hmm, I believe this is because of the XML file. I've seen it be the cause of being placed in the approval queue in the past. I'll take a look and see about getting it approved.

Thanks, Kody.

It's weird now... the update now shows up in the downloads list (the list of versions), but any attempt to actually download it still gets the message.

If it's flagged for virus scan, can I assume that maybe it's affected by a similar problem other users are reporting related to clamd?

Anyway, thanks for your help.

This particular issue is part of the upload issues we're working on fixing right now. Video uploads are seemingly working now, so hopefully we can get everything addressed soon. We have two people working on this exclusively right now - it's extremely high priority for us to get it fixed.
