When my curseclient is trying to update my anti-virus, I use F-Prot Anti-virus, stops it saying curseupdate.exe is infected with W32/Downldr2.BRKX.

Hopefully this gets fixed soon, I really like using Curse, but if files are being infected I may have to look elsewhere.

probably a false positive, since curse is auto run + contain code to download stuff, some AV detect it as a trojan.

It's not Malware, your antivirus is giving a false result. I will forward this to the developer of the Curse Client so this can be resolved soon :). By the way, Kaspersky Anti-Virus is so much better and it doesn't give the false result yours do. Also make sure your anti-virus heuristic detection isn't set too high or it will claim any setup is a virus pretty much.

Thanks for the quick reply. The update has gone through now. Thanks for the suggestion of new anti-virus. Once my subscription ends with this one I will try it out
