I just spent a few hours myself like everyone above trying to figure out how to add my character as it is explicitly stated on the download page and the information about the Curse Client that you can upload your characters and such. I thought this was pretty nifty.

Now after having to search through your forums I find that its not even implemented? Are you kidding me? Stop misleading people into thinking you have something that isn't even in the client.

You need to remove all the information about what your client CAN NOT CURRENTLY DO. Stop advertising features that you don't even have. The client is next to worthless as a updater as a lot of addon developers do not like curse and upload their addons to wowinterface.com and others.

I still can't believe you had the gall to advertise features you don't even have. Why don't I create a clone of your program and say it prints money?

seriously, it wouldn't be 1/2 as bad if you just told people the feature wasn't working yet instead of hour/hours spent just to find out that 6 months ago this post was made yet no progress. It makes me feel like this site would clearly lie or mislead just to keep AD money flowing by people returning to use something that was promised, that we downloaded progs for but then was not delivered.

yeah, having a post on the dashboard, or on the client dload page saying that characters are a work in progress would be nice, otherwise good work curse

Yes I'm more than a bit disappointed myself. For weeks now i thought there was something wrong with my installation of curse or that something was wrong with my computer.

This is kind of rediculous they really should mention this someplace else.

Wow, 6months and im still wondering about this....actually my char is still in kara gear from 8 months ago....I have even deleted him to see if that would work and installed backwards...fail. Is this item even an issue now thats current, in another words is it even being worked on or is it going to be put on the back burner. An update to this would be nice. I know it doesnt take 6 months to correct this one issue...and since the Beta is out now you should have time for it. Although the beta shows no option for this. Whats going on here?

Yeah well i don't have the character profile box operating at all..i don't mind..whenever it starts working i bet it's gonna be groovy :)

As said few times above that Curse staff is doing this for free and that's why all respect for them :)
