Hello!

At first, I would like to congratulate you guys for the Website, cause i like it very much and look for new AddOns everyday!

I'm having a problem with Curse Client 0.16.0.0, cause when I'm gonna to download and install a new AddOn with the Client, I click on "Install using Curse Client" option in the AddOn download page, but sometimes when I select this option nothing happens, and I must download and install the AddOn manually. I have tryed to click on the Client icon with the right button of the mouse (near the clock), and selected the option "Install New Package", but sometimes, it does'nt works too. I need you guys to help me cause I think the Client is very usefull, but sometimes it doesn't works... I use Windows XP and FireFox 3.0.

Same problem with curse client 0.16.0.0 and browser firefox 3.0.1, with IE 7.0 curse client working.

When I try to install package using the client I get the message "Failed to connect to previous instance Error 00000000" Anybody know what this means?

Oh thank goodness this isn't just me.(well, you know what I mean)
I get the error message "Failed to connect to previous interface Error 00000000" and when I try to install addons manually it does not work either. I really have no idea what I should do. It really, is not fun spending hours trying to fix this and coming up with nothing.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

I sometimes have this problem. using Firefox 2.0 atm, but used curse with previous versions aswell.. What i have experienced is that some times i either miss the "Are you sure you want to install this package"-message or it doesn't appear when trying to install the first addon (seem you only need to click it once every download "session"..). If that happens downloading doesn't work. Just closing the client and starting it again works for me.

However! I have a different issue aswell. Some times Vista spends a looooong time moving small files. From the "addons" folder to the "backups" folder. I'm talking minues for some hundred bytes. If someone can tell me how to fix that, i would be thankful.

If you wish to try it out, you can install it at this url: http://static.curseforge.net/uploads/.../CurseSetup-1.0.4.0.exe. It is completely functional as an addon manager and can already do much more than the current client. It will overwrite your old client though, so be warned.

same problem. also i dont see that client is uploading my characters data in my profile. i saw few times after exiting game that client is doint smth. that was before i have activated my account (cant get autentithicating e-mail for 24 hours). After activation - i dont see any activity of a Client. Help plz!

I tried to install it and it turns error. I have no folder "programm files (x86)" and is not installed "microsoft visual studio v.9"

Version 1.0.4.3 fixes the Curse Client to work with windows other then english, please try it out.

I try to intall the curse .com just trying to make a account I did make my account but 4got mty pass word and it will not let me make a 2count accout , SO some 1 let me use his accout to see if it wil work and it did but now when I try to dowlnoad curse;com and make my account ti don;t let me it will show the person let me use his account to downdload the quest helper I like to change it to my name.so I just like to kow how do u change it tto my name, I did know what elss to do my computer iw no more then2 weekds old , is a great computer I:m a guild leader ans need the quest helping and all my add on so bad..lol ..... thank u zzage is what I like my name to be. :-))

i just want to reload curse client on my computer but dont know how

when i click on the website to install via the client, the client doesn't install. any suggestions?

I had so many problems installing and using curse client that I almost gave up on it. I kept getting that error 0000000 message, which was solved by going clicking on the tray icon, clicking the configurations button, de-selecting auto stat, exiting the program, then restarting it from the programs list. It was successfully installed now. Then, it wouldn't let me download the patch, I'd click the button but nothing would happen. Once again I had to exit and restart the program, then clicked on install new package, searched for "titan panel", and installed it using curse client. Looks like it installed successfully.

I am having a similar issue. I have found that when I click on the install via client foir the first time it works, but often the download hangs. If this happens, clicking on additional addon to install does nothing as stated above. If I exit the client and restart it, it will work again for the first addon. Many of them seem to hang. For instance Atlas and AtlasLoot are both hanging on the download.

I'm having a problem downloading also. I get the following error:
Failed to update secutiry settings for WOW cache folder. You should grant write to all users on WTF manually.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to do this. Please help!
