I'm trying to download Omen Threat Meter to add it to my package subscriptions so it'll update on it's own for me, but every time I click "Install using Curse Client's Package Manager" it shows the updater trying to get the information, (bar doesn't fill up) and after a minute or 2 I get

"ERROR: File with id of default attribute of files element for package Omen Threat Meter is Missing"

I'm guessing this was an unplanned issue. It seems Omen Threat Meter doesn't have a "Default Version" set on the site, so the feed doesn't say "this is the current version".

Hmm. Any way to remedy this other than asking the creator to check off default?

It's no big deal though, I can just use WowAce's updater to get the dev version as it's worked on, since I've got a couple mods over there that I use that aren't on Curse.

The author has to set a default version. This is the version most people see on the website as well so it should really be set.

This issue is a bug website wise. It's being addressed.
