How do you set the localization settings for an existing project? I have looked at all the project settings and cannot find any checkboxes for it.

I am looking too for these localization settings, as I'd like to flag my project as compatible with French and German languages and localized for French clients. ;)

There used to be two checkboxes for each language where you could claim if the addon was "compatible" and "localised" for each language. For some time now, these boxes have been missing. The settings are still kept for my old addons but I can't set them for the new addons I've uploaded.

It would be great, if you could fix this.

Up, I came to the forum to report the exact same issue. I can put english, french summaries etc but nothing like a checkbox to validate the langs.

I have the same problem. WTB info.

I think they have no good webmasters at curse, bugs are taking months to be patched, there is another one, you cannot upload chars properly, no more counting the months it has not been fixed, soon you will count in years. They are probably just interested in ad revenues on this site.

Mera, we have a totally new team working on curse.com
We are rewriting from scratch the whole site as i speak. Please don't assume things like we don't care. We have invested massive amount of time and money in this site, and will keep doing so. We are very unhappy with the current state of curse.com, and are working around the clock with the new site.
Why not just fixing the current code? we keep fixing it and it keep breaking, the development team that was in charge of the site failed in producing a clean and maintainable code.

I am sorry for all these issues, they will get solved.

The character upload is not a bug Mera, we've announced and explained that we're finalizing our new profile system at WOWDB, it's absolutely worth the wait. We do not want to release half-finished features, that is why things sometimes will take a little bit longer. I'm unaware when the localization options stopped working, but, it's been forwarded and it'll be looked at as soon as possible.

I am sorry that you feel we are taking long to resolve issues. Unfortunately sometimes things take longer then you want them to do. For example, we're having some very interesting projects coming up that you will love. But, announcing things like that would be a bad idea. Why? Because it's very likely they will get delayed due to extra testing and what not.

We're aware of the majority of the issues Curse.com is having and we have grand plans on fixing them. Not only fixing them actually, we're doing a complete rewrite of the entire site to make all issues go away pretty much. That is far from everything though.

Again, it's a shame that bugs sneak in at times. What we do is squash them. You will be pleasantly surprised by the new profile system -- that's for sure. So yes Mera, the character uploads are currently awaiting the new system. It's a bit of a waiting.. however, it's not a bug. Our coders are actually working around the clock to bring you our new features. We're far from just sitting here and waiting for ad revenues, that would be silly.

I hope this insight gives you a little bit more understanding as to why things take awhile at times.
