I want to delete my account so that I can recreate it with another user name. How can I do this? I am unable to just create another account with my desired email account as it is already in use. Any ideas?

Hmm, I'll pass this on to our developers.

I talked with Osso about this. You're supposed to be able to change your primary email in the Control Panel(which would then allow you to use your old primary on a new account), but it's bugged currently. We'll get it fixed asap.

Ok I feel dumb. You just need to validate your secondary email that you add first, then you can make it primary and delete your old email so that you can use it elsewhere.

There's no function to choose primary email address, only to delete your secondary.

You should receive an email at your primary address to confirm the secondary address you add. Once you've done that you can change the new one to your primary.

I am also trying to delete my account as want to create a new one - how is this done?

Alirght, I understand now how to change my email used--- But I'm having issues and don't know if this is discussed elsewhere. Whenever I chose to totally delete my account via the delete account option (through typing "DELETE" in the box given) It signs me out after I do this, but then I'm still able to log in with that account's information. What the fuzz is going on? (My motive is that I want to use my old login name when I recreate my account.)

The problem is that when I go to the place where it tells you to type in "DELETE" and then it will get deleted doesn't work. It just signs me out of the account, and then I try to create the new account and it says that user name is taken even though I deleted the account. Then, it even lets me sign back in after I supposedly deletd the account. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Why would you want to delete your account to use the same and use the same user name on the new account?

Mainly because I messed up pretty bad on this account, and I have switched accounts several times since I made this curse account. I just want to start fresh, but with this same username. :/

What did you mess up on your account that deleting it and starting a new one with the same name would fix it?

As mentioned, you need to change the email on this account before you can create another.  You can do this from the Site Options tab of the Account Settings page.

If I delete the email, then will I be able to delete the account? Is my email the only reason I can not delete it?
