I am having the same problem. After attempting to reset my "lost" password I had received 1 email to click a link which told me a new password would be sent, it never has been. Finally I gave up and used a new email address to log in but would like to recover my previous account and password.
Additionally, now THIS is my GF's account and SHE cannot log in to the "new" curse client either and you cannot "change" a password without knowing the previous password. So either she is going to need a new email address and account or we both need our original email addresses passwords reset or the reset function to actually work.
This has been very frustrating to say the least.

I'm getting the email to reset my password, however, if I follow the link I get the following message in the browser window:

Got the GOTO reset link and then got the "new reset password is".
Then received another "new reset password email is".
Now I can log in, but cannot change my password to one I want to use.
Am I stuck with the new "reset password" ?

The password change is on the Sign-in information tab of your Account Settings, but here is a direct link http://my.curse.com/user/ChangePassword.aspx

OK, when my password would "reset", the hyperlink email would take me back to the "password reset" page.
If I tried to login, using the new password by using the "fill-in blanks" available, this would just "reset" my password again.
You need to have the hyperlink email take the person to a "log-in page" instead, rather then the "password reset page".

same as rastem and coco,
i have reset my password using the password recovery email method, but when i try to set a proper password via \myCurse\Account Settings\Sign-in Information\Change Password i type the e-mailed password as my "current password" and type and verify the new password, but when i click "Change Password" i get the page "http://my.curse.com/error.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/themes/Common/Pages/user/changepassword.aspx" indicating;
"A server error has occurred.
If you don't mind helping us resolve the problem, please go Support Page and file a ticket or to the Bug Reporting Forum and make a post regarding what you were trying to do at the time you were directed to this page."

I have exactly the same issue, it would be much more helpful if the reset password email provided a dummy password for us to use while creating a new password. If anyone gets an idea how to fix this please post it on here as it is driving me nuts..

Ok......once you use the URL in the email to reset password you will get another email with a dummy password to use......about 10 minutes between both emails......happy at last but Curse guys, please make the process a little more straight forward and in the emails advise what is due to happen next please.

My question is: Did Curse update their Curse client or is this a hack? I am having the same issue. I did try to log in using my sign-in and my email address. I even tryied the new password (with a broken link..not results ) My next option would be set-up a new sign-in but this would be the perfect senero for a hacker to get my info. I am waiting for more posts here befor I do anyything.
