Vista and Curse

I'm using Vista and used the Curse client to install several add-ons. When I start WAR, a pop-up appears in the lower right saying the WARis running but in the game, I don't see the add-ons at work. Do I need to *turn them on* within WAR or so something else?

My guess is you are missing slashlib. Otherwise I have no idea. It all works great for me.

Can you please try installing LibSlash and let us know if that fixes your issue?  You can find it here: http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addons/details/libslash.aspx

I've just had the same problem. I knew what the file was I was trying to install was, so from the command prompt, I did a dir /s for it from the root directory. It turns out that the Curse Client installed them into my WoW directory, even though I'd told it where the WAR directory was.

Were you trying to install SpamMeNot? If so, be careful, because there's also a WoW mod by the same name, so if you forgot to select 'Warhammer' in the dropdown on the Find Addon tab, it defaults to WoW, so you might have installed that instead.
