I downloaded the Questhelper addon, now how do I use it on wow? I had to use the manual download, and now I don't know what to do.

im trying to find where to paste my quest helper add on. i look for my wow folder but i cant find it

What works good for you, eaglesfan?  Certainly not the football team, but that's a different story.  Anyway, @Crazykid, Badsanta, and Wardburger...

Addons (all addons) install to a subfolder in your WoW program folder.  On windows XP, this is (default) in:

c:\program files\world of warcraft\interface\addons\..

For questHelper, you should then end up with something like:

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\QuestHelper\

And all of it's files go in that folder.  So, if installing from a .zip file, just copy the zip to the addons folder, and unzip it there.

Obviously if you've installed WoW to a different folder, you need to change this to reflect your personal installation.  Finally, under Vista, some have recommended installing WoW outside of the Program Files folder to work around a folder permissions conflict between Vista's Program Files folder structure and WoW.  I won't write about this but google will help you with that.

i have the updated questhelper. It was working fine now i cant do dalies. I am not receiving credit for kills. And my quest log is now to the left of the mini map it used to be under mini map. I tried to reload qh but no luck :(

in the addons menu, tick the box "Load out of date...". worked for me, at least.

For some reason it does not work at all - no icon, no errors, no nothing. I tried to install in both ways:  with client and without it - same thing. I would not bother posting anything it was about only qh, BUT it's Omen and some other usefull addons my guildies use that are broken the same way!!! Could it possibly be that curse developers updated them too early (tomorrow patch is kinda fundamental). So i don't mean to bitch, but rather kindly asking curse.com development team to look into that matter. Thanks in advance.
