Missing stuff and strange forums behavior

This is a bug report (well, I'm going to consider it a bug, let's pretend it is).

I had some posts in some threads, and the proof is that my activity log shows them:

10-12-2008
NewMediaGalleryComment Arzach commented on Tekkub's file, FuBar_CorkFu.
10-10-2008
NewForumPost Arzach replied to Site Update 10/01/08 in General Discussion.
NewForumPost Arzach replied to Uninstalled curse client - not happy inGeneral Discussion.

I check from time to time if there's any reply, however today i cannot find anymore the 3rd post in the above list.

Now, there are 2 alternatives (since I didn't delete it):

  1. forums backend is bugged and it "forgets" posts.
  2. post has been deleted.

If the 2nd case, the system is lacking a feature: as is a feedback to the message author to inform him of the message deletion and the reasons behind it.

Btw, since the message I'm talking about was rather direct and harsh toward some Curse people, I'd rather know what was the reasons behind its removal (if it have been removed by admins, ofc.). This because I'd feel completely unacceptable to limit user's Freedom of Speech (Curse is hosted in USA, a country where Freedom of Speech is in the Constitution itself).

Quoted by Wikipedia:

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is part of the United States Bill of Rights that expressly prohibits the United States Congress from making laws "respecting an establishment of religion" or that prohibit the free exercise of religion, laws that infringe the freedom of speech, infringe the freedom of the press, limit the right to peaceably assemble, or limit the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Anyway, I'm sure it's a bug in the forums backend, isn't it ?

Cheers
