so i'm trying to log onto the cosmos website to update my patcher...and it's not working -.- their server seems to be down. anyone else have this problem or a solution?

my patcher doesn't work :( which affect pretty much al lof my addons

No luck for me either on the website.  The patcher seemed to work ok, but all addons are still considered out of date.

Err AnduinLother the Cosmos Team lead posted awhile back that this project is dead... He said he will maintain a few things, like Fluid Frames, but essentailly there is no more Cosmos.

Is there something close that we can use?

There are TONS of compilations... it all depends on what you relied on Cosmos for.  The best thing I can tell you to do is Google "wow mod compilations" and start reading. Just be sure whatever you get is 3.0x compatible.

Cosmos will no longer be maintaining its data base starting with the new patch.  :(

All I've ever used is Cosmos/Khaos and have no idea what's even remotely close to it.  

Hey fellow ex-cosmosers

I've got at new UI after 2½ years with Cosmos. It was a lot of hard work and now look really cool, but all the time I find something missing that I took for granted with Cosmos - things I thought must have been ingame Blizz-features. My best advice is to ask around in your guild and among wow-friends. A lot of them have been using other less complete packages and are good at giving advice on chatmods, mail mods and so on. Good luck out there.

i found a couple more of the small addons that cosmos used and are updated for 3.0, the quest log is something i still need to find, as doublewide isn't as good imo (need the 2 separate windows) i know most of the names and can help you find what you need if anyone needs the help, message me and i'll try my best
