QuestHelper Help! Please!!!

I downloaded the newest quest helper and its still saying out of date, so I clicked the load out of date option in the addons page on WOW. Then I log in and quest helper gives a meesage like "I'm refusing to run because I dont want to corrupt your data. Please wait for a patch that will work with the new zone layout.." wtf?

 HELP! PLEASE!! =[

I am experiencing the same problem i have tried downloading it into c:\what ever it was on the screen and it still says the same thing i have also done the same thing as you with the addon page and it says the same stuff... i've been trying since .60 now it's .62

I know it'll fix itself but dang it sucks for us few ppl.

Apparently the directory location was changed for Vista users...was it changed for those of us using XP?  I have tried everything to get this to work, and have even deleted the old versions...only to have the "Add-Ons" button disappear on the character screen.  So, I put the original version back in and the button reappeared.  I have downloaded version .62 but for some reason it still isn't working.  Extremely frustrating...any idea what is going on?

wondering if you got it to work yet ????

Ok yes the directory location changed for Vista, no it didn't change for XP.

I kept getting the same error the OP is getting.  Here was my problem.  I am running Cartographer as well.  The problem was Cartographer_POI.  Once I disabled that Questhelper worked.

The note says that it has but on looking there is no AddOns folder to be found in C:/Users/Public/Games/World of Warcraft.

So does Quest Helper get installed in C:/Users/Public/Games/World of Warcraft of should we create an AddOns folder in C:/Users/Public/Games/World of Warcraft and then put Quest Helper in the AddOns folder?
