I have been using the TasteTheNaimbow addon for a while now, and it seems that the addon has stopped working with the new patch.

Anyone know of an addon that does basically the same thing? That is color each name differently in chat, but not according to their class or race or whatever.

Cosmos is discontinued starting from 3.0.2, that's why this addon will not work anymore.

I was also looking for a lightweight addon like TasteTheNaimbow that color names in chat frame random, however couldn't find one. So I started using the mod Prat3.0. It has a lot more functions, but yes it does let you choose how you want to color the names. (More mem usage though)

Bummer, I really like the Naimbow.

Thanks for the suggestion, I had to tweak it a little bit but Prat 3.0 is working fine.

TasteTheNaimBow was part of the Cosmos bundle, which is more or less gone. However, if you go to http://cosmosui.org/addons.php you will find an updated version by the original dev. I don't use it, so I can't say how well it worked.
