Alternative to Auctioneer classic?

I am a fan of the Auctioneer team, and really appreciate the countless hours they have put in to developing such an awesome addon.  But, now that Auctioneer classic has been discontinued, I have been using the new Auctioneer advanced.  While the features are great, I feel it is far more advanced than what I need.  I also very much miss the very clear tooltips that provided a clear suggested Starting bid and Buyout price.  I have more difficulty trying to see what prices I am matching or undercutting.  And I really miss Auctioneer Classic.  So, is there an alternative?  Or am I going to have to learn lua in order to create my own addon?

Amen I am having the same problem.  I loved the simplicity of classic just drag and click

Same here. I am completely lost and have looked everywhere for an answer and can not for the life of me figure out the meaning of the Item Tool tip.

I get a 2/12/244/22 and I don't know what that means. (Just an example, not an actual figure). I go to the auction house and try to corralate what those figures are, but see nothing to reference by.

I tried to log on to the team's website to ask on the forums, but was unable to create a new account, so no posting allowed. I have looked at all the documentation and the readme files but it still doesn't make sense to me.

Sorry if I have missed something, but I too am at a loss for trying to figure out the tool tip portion of the program.

Anyone else have any ideas? Or at least the replacement as the OP mentioned.
