Is there an add-on that has more than 10 buttons for the hunter's pet bar? With the 3.0 pet skills I have several pet skills that won't fit on the bar. I'd like to be able to add them all, so I can easly disable ones I don't want active in certain situations and also keep an eye on cool downs.
I macro'd a couple of them and added the macros to one of my other bars, but those buttons don't show the gold border that indicates the skill is active and don't give me a way to disable it. I have to open the skill book to do that.
Maybe there is a macro command for turning off a pet skill?

try zhunter mod
I use wowmatrix to update and download all of my addons, its a great tool to use for managing your addons outside of the game.

Thank you for the suggestion, but zHunter doesn't effect the Pet skill bar. It's a very nice add-in though, for other Hunter skills

Well, I'd Suggest something like Bartender or Trinitybars. The only disadvantage would be that you may have to redo all your key bindings.

We're all missing the point here folks. No bar mod can add additional pet skill buttons. This is hard coded into wow. There is a reason for this, it is a force play for you to choose what skills you monitor on your pets. The best thing to do is remove from thee pet bar any auto abilty that you always want your pet to do like growl, bite, etc. ANything with a cool down that you want to toggle yourself, put THOSE on the bar and click them when you want them.

I am looking for a similar addon ... I figure I don't need growl and cower on the bar, but the default wow interface forget if I activate the auto cast on growl and cower and just enable it randomly (even both). The whole addition to pet abilities is making this an issue. I guess someone might throw a "working as intended" my way but it is stilll bad.

I know it is not what was asked for in this thread, but macros will help with those abilities you dont want on the petbar.
Useful, changeable macros for Pets!

First of all everyone needs to understand that the pet bar is a special bar that can not be changed like the way we want. The reason being is that it is kinds like an auto cast bar and Blizz hates to let us autocast anything. You can turn on or off your pets spells which they cast automatically. Plus Blizz only wants you to have a maximum number of spells available to autocast by your pet at any ope time. Manually managing your pet is the only option.
