Could it be something with the individual file in the WTF Folder for that specific character? you could go into the wtf folder and drill down into the folder with that 70's character name, and look at what files are around that area that have to do with questhelper.
So for one of my characters my path is
C:\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\accountname\Elune\Missloc\SavedVariables
and within that folder are parts of my files for all my addons. I say find all quest helper ones, cut them out "back them up" and try restarting wow. If that doesnt do it, try copying those same files from another character and putting them in there.
Basically when you cut them out and start wow up, quest helper will re-install those files as needed, so maybe you have a bad file that needs replaced.

I use wowmatrix to update and download all of my addons, its a great tool to use for managing your addons outside of the game. |
