I log on to any of my characters and a red button shows up saying that quest helper is broken you may have to restart WoW i did that and it still does not work. Does anyone have any ideas of what could help me to fix it? i have also tried reinstalling Quest Helper and that did not work either.

i am having the same thing happen to me. i am not sure what it is. do u have vista?? i am looking into it mself and trying to get it fixed...it only happened after i downloaded the new big wow patch. i have quest helper on my pc and it works fine. but i cant get it on my laptop. i have had several friends download it no problem to their laptops. not sure exactly whats going on. ill send u a reply again if i get it figured out. talk to yas laters

Alright, did you go to your wow addon folder and delete the old Questhelper folder? If that doesnt work, then delete Questhelper from your WTF folder and try again.

er.. dumb question..
Have you updated your installation since the WOTLK patch?
QuestHelper HAS been updated and is functional on my machine, and I'm using Vista (which, aside from being stupid about intial movement of file folders, hasn't messed with AddOns at all).
It's available on this site. Do a search and keep an eye on the "last updated" column. Ta daaa!

Can you get QuestHelper on a laptop because i cant do automatic install?

Desktop, laptop, pc, mac... All the same when it comes to addons. If the auto install isn't working, then do it manually.

I just had the same problem, But it happened after i installed Perl UF. After i disabled the perl frames my quest helper popped right back up.

I could be wrong but it looks like your getting this error because your useing an addon that is made for game version 3.0.3. It shows your game version at 2.4.3 which I would assume your on a private server. Which is probably the problem.

This is an old thread you should have made a new one, but since you already posted, What is wrong with your questhelper? Did you check the link below first?
