BBC help please!

Hey there,

I'm the technology reporter at Radio 1 Newsbeat and wondered if you lot might be able to help me with something. I'm hoping to put together a radio and website report on World of Warcraft pegged to the launch of the new expansion pack in a couple of weeks time. I'm keen to go and visit someone that plays the game and ask about what makes it so addictive, how important it is to their lives, how often they play… that sort of thing.

Because this is Radio 1 and not Radio 4, I really need to go round someone's house and watch the game being played while asking them a couple of questions. Ideally (although not necessarily) I'd like to speak to a couple that play at the same time, either in the same house or separately. Know it's a bit cheeky to invite myself around but… well, figured I'd try. I'm happy to go anywhere in the UK and can work around your schedule (evenings etc all fine). If it's something you might be interested in, give me a shout on jim.reed@bbc.co.uk and I'll call you back.

Jim

I'm in the states so I don't know how much help I can be. You might want to try the official forums here: http://forums.wow-europe.com/ .  Also, there are a group of people who run a World of Warcraft internet radio show.  They have had a lot of interviews and such on their shows, perhaps they could help you out. http://www.wcradio.com
