No. but hunters have the ability to tack Humanoids.

Yeah, it detects Alliance, but I think if an Alliance player installs it it is gonna detect Horde.

You are referring to Paranoia it does nothing more than parse the combat log and look for an opposing faction player who does 'something' that causes a combat log event. So if a player sees you from a distance and just rides right up to you and ganks you this addon will not warn you. Basically this is as close to it as you will ever get. Again there is no addon that can just detect a player in the area.
