the only thing i have in my addon folder is QuestHelper.

when i go to my character select screen and view my addons...there are a bunch of old addons. when i log in questhelper does not work. it says: I am not working, in fear that i will ruin saved data. please wait for a patch for the new zones.

please help

Are you runnign vista? If so... they changed the path for addons. They are now somewhere like c:/users/public/games/worldofwarcraft/

this doesnt help...the path doesn not work. C:\computer\public    there is no such thing

Well, sorry to say. I cant help you because I dont know Vista at all. Hopefully some one lse will be able to help you.

I had this problem, its a common vista bug, what you need to do is delete your Interface folder in your WoW Directory, then load up WoW then exit it, then get all your addons you used to have and stuff them in some folder :P, Then make a folder called "Interface" in the WoW directory, then open it and create another folder called "Addons", it its already there then dont bother, then put all the addons into it and load up WoW, it should work, Its caused by the 3.0.2 Patch.
