im sorry im wondering how to get add ons working? is there a certain folder i must download the addons into? plz help i know absolutely nothing

You have to unzip the addon to your Wow folder at Interface/addons. then it should work. in your select character screen  at bottom left you can see the button addons. check if the addon is there and is up to date. if it is not up to date you may be able still use it if you check the box apply even if out of date..

a Good Alternative way to put addons and keep them up to date is to download Curse client. you can see what addons you like and install them automaticaly by just press the install button :P
