Is there an addon that tells you the vendor value of each item in your bags?  You know when sometimes you have full bags but you need that one last drop for the quest you are on and you come across a green?  Which item do you destroy to make room?  The trash axe or the stack of trash hides? 

I tried browsing through the addons, but nothing looked like it had this.  Help?

Try WoW++ (search WoWPlusPlus).  It adds a "sort" button to your backpack window that moves all the trash (grays and whites) to the bottom of your bags and pushes the other stuff (quest items, potions, food, etc) to the top.

I don't care to sort my items (I keep them sorted as I get them).  I just need to know the value of them on the fly so I can make the right choice of which one to destroy.

Sounds more like what I am looking for, but I am a Mac user and won't be able to fire off Windows executables (At least not without emulation), nor would I feel comfortable doing so with the abundance of WoW keyloggers out there.

Informant, which is part of the Auctioneer bundle, usually does this. For some reason though, mine's been broken for the last couple of days.

i think it updated, i found an addon called sellfish, that adds the feature too, and then did a manual update of it's database, and informent started working again too, so now when i mouse over it shows me th sell price twice, haven't tried it without sellfish active yet though.
