I was wondering if there are any add ons that exist which could pop up a big notification that Slam is ready to use?  Every time Bloodthirst crits, I get a "free Slam" (no cast time, instant slam).  Could I possibly configure an existing add on to do this, possibly a scrolling combat text add on?  Because I'm just using Blizzard's scrolling combat text and the small <Slam!> notification usually is lost to me.

Not exactly what you seek, but I was introduced to an addon called FuryDPS.

Looks a bit like Elkbuffbars but smaller.

Place it near the corner of your eye and look out for the white bar to appear, then Slam that poor sucker :)

is it a proc?

i have write a simular addon 4 mages if hot streak proc's and i gain a instant pyroblast it plays a sound

but it's based on a buff

i have recode my addon MageAlert to this warrior attack

Bloodthirst plays a sound and the screen flash red if u get the instant slam!

it's similar as WarlockAlert or the annoncement of Necrosis for shadowtrance

I use the "Nao!!" addon.

It will give you a large icon when BT crits and Slam becomes instant. You can put it anywhere on your screen:)

Works efficient.

Thanks for the replies.  A guildy actually taught me how to create a custom event for it using sct.  It works pretty well for me, but I'll try to test out all of your methods.  If anyone wants to know how to do it with sct, just ask and I'll give directions.

OK, it is easy to "upgrade" this addon, open b-thirst.toc in a text editor and change the first line from:

## Interface: 30000

to:

## Interface: 30100
