Even better than having to write it all out: http://www.wowwiki.com/UI_code_load_order
What they kinda skip over is WoW loads addons alphabetically. Knowing this can make a difference when you are trying to track down a tricky error. They also skip that fact that WoW only parses the .toc file once and after that only .lua and .xml files contained in each addon folder. Some resources can be called upon, such as images and sound files, but you can NEVER call on an .exe, .dll, .java, etc... you are very limited on what and WHERE you can call on a resource.
Knowing all this, all of those people who claim to have been infected by a keylogger contained in an addon are just placing blame on the wrong source. It is only coincidence that someone gets hacked after downloading an addon. Now having said that there is a flip side to that argument. You can get a keylogger via an addon BUT ONLY if you download an addon that is packaged as an .exe (double-click to install) file. You will never find those types of addons on a major addon site such as Curse.com or WowInterface.com.
There are a lot of people who blame an addon yet they share their password or play on a private server etc... Remember that only you are responsible for a virus that can get on your system. There are so many free and quality antivirus scanners and firewalls that you are just silly to not have one of each running all the time. In the end it can usually be determined after some detailed questioning that the person did indeed let their buddy play their account or they played on a private server or installed a "real nice" addon where all they had to do was double-click the download to install it.
This has been said over and over but too many people so I'm done now. (^_^)
