Client is no longer uploading my profile info or WARDB is not showing it

Have not had an update for a couple weeks now on WARDB.  Have not changed anything on my computer.

Same problem here. When I log off my character (log, not exit game), the information is sent and verified that it was sent. However, my character profile has yet to be updated.

I am level 40 now, and I logged in last night, not 2 days ago.

2.1.4.0 and this btw is wowdb not wardb, no characters showing up.

Same prblem here, my client is also set to auto update, and it has been updating. It SAYS it's uploading my character info, but ti's not doing so.

 

 btw, I've posted about this several times, and after one response from a curse  admin asking (what version I'm using) my responses have gone ignored. The character uploader simply has not worked well ever. It has worked because my toons are uploaded to WoWdb, but they're simply not updating, and haven't done so in about 2 months.Post

Interesting...Curse Client finally loaded at least one of my characters to the WoWDB.  No rhyme or reason...just decided to load one.

The code which is responsible for uploading profiles to WOWDB and WARDB has been re-factored, and it will be included in the next release of the client.

This is weird, 4 of my characters downloaded fine but others do not.  Today 3/14/09 it said it was downloading character information, but they didn't show up.

Still not working. My DK has been showing as level 59 for months now on the WowDB, but my lock uploads fine.  As the above user stated it seems selective with what characters it uploads, and it simply does not like my DK.

For some reason, Curse doesn't like to download my Deathknight characters onto WoWdb.

Curse Client (vers. 3.0.0.2, including Curse Profiler) still doesn't seem to like any of my characters if it is selective.... Nothing gets uploaded and I am really disappointed as the new version didn't improve anything for me.

The Client doesn't even show a small window saying things like "WoW running" or "uploading character". It just does nothing! I already checked my firewall, where it's marked as "exception" to be permitted and checked, if it is marked as an addon to be running for all my characters.

What is strange at the same time is that my Curse Profile on curse.com says my last login to that profile would have been by the end of september 2008, although I regularly checked it during the last months...

Could someone PLEASE help me?

If you don't see a popup "Your character profile has been uploaded to WOWDB", something is definitely not working. Can you confirm that you have the Curse Profiler installed, and enabled within WoW?

"Your character proifle has been uploaded to WOWDB" shows but character doesn't always show, at least my Death Knights don't want to show for some reason.

same problem here with the upload.. :(

msg is shown as jjoren wrote & nothing shows up in wowdb .. (i know some of my realm has uploaded succesfully, but as far as i know the using the EN client)

and NO Error on uploading , no traffic blocked from my Firewall or similar program for the curseclient

using latest curse 2.0 profiler (v40 , Released 2008/11/11) and DE Client

I get the "profile has been uploaded" message as well (WARDB), however my characters haven't updated in 4 days.  I've tried from 3 internet connections and 3 different computers.  Same results.  All are running 3.0.0.2.

Update not working. Client says: ""Your character profile has been uploaded to WARDB" but is not true. I have last wersion of client, I try to reinstall, reilnstal curse profiler. Is not working. Not updating character data, and not adding new chars. Do something with that, pls.

Yes, I can confirm that Curse.Profiler 2.0 is installed (there's a folder in my WoW Addon-folder with ".lua" files and so on) and it is activated for all my characters, I've just checked that. And I see no popup window showing the message you typed above, concerning the character profile and its upload.

Same here my client updated to 3.0.0.2 and stopped uploading my characters, it's also stopped the little window in the bottom right of my screen showing up, when I start wow.

Same here - a little annoying, I saw this upload-window only once - and after that point never again. Reinstall of the client won't change anything.

This only seems to be affecting certain people.

If someone can contact Adamar via pms on the site and pass along your IM info he can help you figure out the issue.

I'm still having issues with Curse not downloading all of my characters to my WoWDB, most have downloaded but not all, and it's not consistant.  haven't heard from developers in 3 weeks, no box shows up when I exit WoW

Same thing here. For 4 weeks already the latest Curse Client does not upload anything to WARDB.

I have got Vista x64 Ultimate OS & my firewall does not block Cruse Client.

My wife has got WinXP x64 and it does not work for her neither. So I assume that issue is OS independent.

It also does not say that WAR is started when I start and does not say "Uploading ...." when I quit WAR, too.

Curse Client addon is installed properly into WAR and it also can be seen in game's addon list. I reainstalled the whole thing twice already.

You know, "certain people" is a very relative term. I think those "certain people" are more than just a couple.

Are you sure there is no more general way to get that issue fixed instead of every single personson get in contact with Curse team?
