While ignoring all the risks of exposing my "noobocity",  I hve to ask.  By definition, what exactly is a "client"?  Oh, just for anyones info who might be wondering... I run Vista, and downloaded the client following curses instructions,  and it worked just fine.

A client is something that connects to another program (mostly in a diffrent location)

So Say your playing warcraft, Thats the client and everytime you move or do something it sends data to the server then the server stores it.

Its kinda a crap definition but itll do :)
