curse adverts

not sure if this is a bug or not, but recently a large number of the adverts on your website seem to be expanding well beyond their intended area, and end up covering large amounts of the screen, at best its irritating, but sometimes it means you cant access some of the site functions because they have become hidden beneath the advertisments.

ive got that problem right now !

this may be specific to the ad that's running.  If you can tell me what company or describe the ads you're seeing this on, I'll forward it to the marketing people.

currently a carephone warehouse add, its a normal sized banner add, surrounded top and bottom by a huge white expanse that makes it about 4 times higher than it should be, therefore covering a lot of the page, it seems to be a lot of different adverts that get it.

took a screenshow of this after I posted my reply, can send it to you if required.

I have the same issue with banner ads. This is with ALL ads and means i cannot use the 'next page' or 'quick download' buttons on the new maods / updated mods list.

As i run a stupid ammount of mods i have to check for updates everyt day and cannot do so if one day the mods extend over a page.

It is the main banner on every screen next to the curse client logo

This is happening under both IE and Mozilla Firefox. Latest versions installed, OS is windows XP.

Some screenshots. this happens on every page. The frame itself also seems a lot deeper vertically than the banner calls for.

Thanks for the reports.  I've forwarded this on to our ad campaign manager.

The new fullscreen ads are EXTREMELY annoying, especially as they pop up every time you load a page. In case this might be something browser/ad specific and not intended; I'm using firefox 3 and the ad's "GunBound - GOA.COM".
