I'm bumping an old thread, but my PC was recently infected with a keylogged, and the only thing that's been downloading since the incident were add-ons from the Curse Client, which I personally downloaded here, from this site. I don't think the program has the keylogger attached, rather, the addons themselves that are being downloaded, and after extraction a hidden .exe file could be executed in the background...

Ive used the curse client for as long as ive played WoW and never had a single issue.

for those idiots out their who think Curse client is a keylogger, I have news for you, Do your research, learn something about computers, I'm a software tech for living, let me provide my proof its not a keylogger. as your notice Not a single one of these programs have a virus under the "Result" section, Stop your assumptions, get off your high horse just because you dislike the client. and Stop spreading falsefied lies and rumors. Get the Client from "http://www.Curse.com"; If you get it anywhere else thats your fault.

So you're saying it couldn't possibly have been something else you downloaded?  Is the Curse Client the ONLY 3rd party software/download you have?

Developer, Curse

Wow, perhaps we can send these people who blame everybody else to the Town Halls on Health Care.  There is almost as much investigation and research there.. :)

I'm going to boil this down simply.  If you truly believe that the client caused you to become clicky at some gold framing/powerleveling/adult site by holding a gun to your head, ask for permission to decompile the program yourself.  Then post your evidence.  Until then, the good old MMO rule applies: Screenshot or it didn't happen.

Until you actually provide evidence, you will be considered a troll and your posts will be treated as such: deleted.  No, not trying to "cover" anything, or I would've deleted the posts that already exists and/or locked this thread.  But I sure as hell won't stand by while some punks try to defame and slander someone's hours of hard work to provide a service for said ungrateful asses.

I'm locking this thread.

People that get hacked by doing stupid things and blame "Curse" or other sites are just demonstrating that Darwin's Law applies online.
