Hey, I gave that a try... and nothing.  Thanks for the advice though.  But, just to be clear:  I'm using windows vista 64, and ! have 2 windows user accounts.  One is mine (administrator), the other is my gf's (standard user).  We both play world of warcraft and we both have our own WoW accounts.  Also we both have curse clients, with seperate accounts there as well.  I installed the curse client on my Windows account, it is set to run as an admin.  It's also set to run as an admin on my gf's window account.  when we play on my user account, whether it be mine or her WoW account doesn't matter, the addons are there.  but when she switches to her windows user account...  she has no add ons.  However, she has curse client up and running.  Even after Completely replacing her curse client file with mine.... still no dice.  any ideas?  did i do it wrong maybe?  help!  i really dont want her to have to use my user account everytime she plays!

I would assume this is because she doesn't have access to where the addons are install on her (windows)account.

Can you tell us where your wow directory is.  What is the path exactly?

If your still having the problem.  I would try having your girlfriend run wow as Administrator.  You might have to put in your username and password, but it would be like you running wow and not a standard user.

  1. Locate the applications icon or short cut and Right click on it
  2. From the Drop Down Menu select the Run As Administrator option
  3. Now click the application icon or short cut and it should run
  4. When the User Account Control (UAC) message appears enter the appropriate credentials if you are logged on as a standard user, and click the Submit button
  5. If you are the Administrator and UAC is not configured to always require credentials, just Click the Continue button and the application should start.
