I will admit, I am probably the WORST Hunter out there at forgetting to change my aspect, Especially now that i'm a nerfed out Mana Junkie MM Spec.

After a long fight (sometimes right at the end of a long fight) I have to switch to Aspect of the Viper to Mana Regen, then we go into the next fight and I'm still running Viper.... and then the next boss.... I'm still running Viper.... and then somebody will whisper me "What happened to your DPS?" and then I'll realize that I'm still running Viper and gimping my DPS by about 900...

I need an addon that flashes across the bottom of my screen, maybe 10% of the screen vertical distance and the full width of the screen. Something that will flash with every shot when Aspect of Viper is running.

Better yet... is there a addon that will auto-switch my aspects? have a variable option, like say... if I want to set the minimum at 5% Mana it will auto switch to Aspect of Viper and when mana is over 90% it will auto switch to an aspect that I choose? which is usually Aspect of Dragonhawk but there are some very specific fights where a Hunter is asked to use Aspect of Wild, to possibly a drop down box to manually select an aspect or have an "auto" option, Something I can run for an entire raid once the variables are set but will still have the ability to stick with 1 aspect for PvP fights etc...

It is against Blizzard code to switch the aspect for you. Though there are several mods out there that can warn you at certain mana %'s (usually customizable) if you have viper on, or something else useful.

You can configure Power Auras Classic to do that. Only thing is it can do 1m other things too so it probably uses more memory than what you want.

Alternately cAspectOfTheViper has a couple modes and all it does is AoV stuff.

OK, After 30 minutes of much reading and trying several addons, I found this...

If you don't want to click links, search for addon called "Aspectchange" in the search block on curse mainpage, This is an awesome addon that pops big yellow letters across your screen with a "Raid Warning" type sound that tells you to switch to Aspect of Viper when your mana is below 10% and the again Yells at you to switch to Aspect of Dragonhawk when you mana is above 90%. If you continue attacking when your mana is below 10% it will keep reminding you to switch your aspec (or Mana Pot) and if you continue attacking above 90% it will continue to flash the warning with every attack to switch to Dragonhawk.

Hopefully this helps any Hunters looking for a similar addon.

Drawbacks: If you play a Druid/Rogue/Warr also, you have to manually disable this addon for that specific charachter, the Aspect change warning will flash when your rage is below 10% and above 90% also.

Im addicted to Power Auras. I have one set up to tell me when Serpent Sting needs to be renewed. One to tell me if I am in combat with Aspect of Cheetah. One that tells me Explosive shot is ready. One to tell me Lock n Load has procced. Its very helpful.

You can set each addon to load or not depending on your character in the addon page at the character selection screen so this should not be an issue.
