Hello, I'm Korithan. I'm currently playing a holy spec priest, and I'm looking for an addon that will notify me when I'm needing to heal (for better efficiency). What I specificly want within this addon, is a little window that shows the health bars of my current party (or current raid party) and when they hit 50%, the bar flashes red, and makes a ping sound or one that will throw me back down to earth while daydreaming. I hope you can help me out, and it'd be nice if someone could make this for me.

You really shouldn't be daydreaming while on heal patrol, but that's just my opinion. As for addons, yes, there is some you can use: PerfectRaid (get all three addons) or Grid or Healbot. With any of them, use Clique so you can click-cast the unit frames without changing targets.

As for an audio/visual warning, then the other people will have to get addons, not you, that announces low health. CombatCaller is such an addon, but it out of date. However, it may still work. The point is, low health warnings are given by other players to you.

In any case, if you are asleep at the wheel, then you are a bad healer, and no amount of addons will change that.

I don't actually fall asleep at the wheel, and I do have great healing skills, I just would like a little more technical support via addons. I've got ADD so my attention isn't on par with the average healer. So, thank you all again for your suggestions, links, and other information. Much appreciated.

KorithanDK, no problems, mate. I didn't know about your ADD (how could I?) and am glad my suggestions helped. You could/should also check out Prayer of Mending tracker (POM) and Decursive. I'd post the links, but they both should be very easy to find.

The other suggestion I can make is to customize your unit frames, so party/pets/raid frames are all nice and easy to get to with the minimum of moving the mouse. I linked PerfectRaid, which you can use for both party and raid frames if you so wish, but if you want both, there is many, many UI mods. Afterall, if your character and party frames are in the default top left, and your raid frames are near top right, and your action bars are bottom, then you waste a lot of time clicking all over the place to heal people.

Y'know, I was daydreaming myself. While not specifically a Holy Priest addon, SmartRes makes raid death recovery a breeze. The link is in my signature.
