Curse Profiler Not Loading Info **ANSWERED**

I love using WoWDB to track my character gear and look for upgrades. However, I've noticed that Curse Profiler seems to have stopped updating a couple of my characters the last few days. For example: The character page still shows my gnome warrior as being lvl 42 when I'm now 45, and it doesn't show the new equipment I have either. The two that aren't updating were moved to a different realm (from Durotan to Nesingwary) and was wondering if that might be the problem. (That's the only thing that's changed. Still using the same Windows XP software, with a Firefox browser.) If so, do any of you know how I can fix whatever's wrong so my WoWDB toon profiles update?

Thank you for any help!

(Also - I wasn't sure where this sort of issue is supposed to go, so...)

Im having the same problem but I think my case is even worse, it displays I'm level 27 but I'm actually 39... and it's been like 10 days!

Mine still hasn't fixed itself, and I've leveled to 54, and it still shows me as 42. Mine's been broke for a month or so now. And I've uninstalled, then reinstalled C.Profiler.

The db and profiler team is aware of this issue and is looking into it.  It's not failing for everyone so it's taking a while to track it down.

Okay, that's understandable. :) It's just my sort of luck though, that I'd be one of the odd ones out. *laughs at herself*

If it makes you feel better, it happens for me too =)

okay - I just started playing again and I enjoyed having my profile updated in WoWDB too...  after looking in the CurseProfiler.toc file, I found this line:

## SavedVariables: CurseProfilerDB, CurseProfilerDebugDB

However, when I went to my "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\\SavedVariables" directory, I did not see either of those files in there... nor were they in any other of my savedvariables directories...

hope that helps - if not, please keep looking into it!

Thanks...

Any answer to this problem yet?  I've now had this issue for 2 months or so and no attempt to resolve it appears to have been done!!!

Hello all,

We've been preparing a fix for the character profile uploads, for wowdb, wardb, and romdb. Each is slightly different so we've also added a new option under Tools to manually force character uploads. Not all users are experiencing problems, but this should help us diagnose the ones that are. These changes will be available in the next release(3.0.0.6) client. There will also be another option under Help->view log file to make it easier for users to get extended information on problems.

any new info on this? I haven't been able to upload my chars to runesdb at all since I started playing. I tried reinstalling the curse client with no change, I checked the savedvars file rom uses and it has a 'CurseProfiler_Save = ' section.

Necro bumps are bad.

There's still no news. :(

It's nothing wrong with your client at all.
