I have removed and reinstalled the curse client several times and still have the same problem.  When updating the list of installed addons it will pop up the status indicator that reads "Building Addon List" but the status never advances at all and even after leaving it to run for 24 hours did not make any progress.

what version of the client did this last happen with?

i just downloaded it for the mac and had the same problem SOME1 HELP ME TOOOO!!!!!!!!

Exact same problem for me and it pegs the cpu at 50%. I uninstalled everything, copied all my existing interface and wtf content to the WoW folder, then installed the Curse Client and hit refresh. I get the "Building addon list" popup, but it just hangs from there. I'm using the latest version as of today.

Yep, the updater grabbed the new version, but I'm still experiencing the same problem.

I believe I've found the source of this issue, and it will be patched in an update today.

Hi Adamar, I got your PM and the latest version this morning and still appear to have the same issue:

I hope 2.1.2.2 wasn't the fix patch, as if it was I'm still broke as well.

Update: 2.1.2.4 installed, still no luck getting past building.

Same here with 2.0.0.12.

A update to 2.1.2.4 did not solve it.

Just tried loading curse client for the first time on my mac, presuming it is the latest version of curse available and got stuck with the buildings add on list

I manually add all my addons to the list. Right...

Then the client will still try to build the list at startup !

I've positively identified the source of this bug, and it is fixed internally. Tomorrow we'll be releasing 2.1.2.5, which includes this fix and several others.

I can also attest that the beast is dead, 2.1.2.5 works beautifully, no more stall. Great work Adamar.

Is 2.1.2.5 out to the public yet? I'm having this problem along with the client pegging the CPU at 25% (quad core) and all I can see on the client page is 2.1.2.4

My notebook updated to 2.1.2.5 today, so it did go live. Not sure why yours isnt auto updating.

After update to 2.1.2.5 the client is still stuck on building the addon list.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall (sadly the 2.1.2.4 that updates to 2.1.25 and not the 2.1.2.5 as it cannot be downloaded yet) with no more luck.

I wonder what's next ?
