super fast leveling

Gentlemen. I have come up with a system of leveling that would greatly increase the speed at which one reaches 80

All that is required is for 5 players to play in unison, at the same time every day.

A perfect group combo is made already

For this attempt it shall be

-mage-fire

-rogue- combatdaggers

-rogue-combatswords

-warrior- DUEL WEILD protection

-preist-holy

Do not expect to definetly get the class u want. Be prepared to play any of these. I shall have the last say as i am effectively leader.

All players must guarantee to be able to play between 10am and 10pm every day for 1 week.

Players are to understand the following benefits of this scheme

-As players are the same group all the time this will GREATLY increase functionality

-the advantage of this is instances are ground over and over in the shortest possible time, The focus stratagem of this plan is that this will GREATLY exeed soloing exp, this will even make travel times for quests redundant.

-Drops from instances will CERTAINLY exeed gear that would be attained lvling, thus making the grind even faster

-Trash mobs are NOT to be looted as this will only provide a detriment to the leveling process as a whole. All players are to go enchanting, boss loot will MORE than provide for everyones lvling up needs.

-Ventrilo is not necessary as everyone should DEFINETLY know how to 5man with ANY OF THESE TOONS, and if not will learn VERY fast as it isnt hard

-On the whole instances are MORE ENJOYABLE to play through, especially with a FUN group of people

-Descisions such as "where to instance now?" are generally dictated by me. Im the boss as such, however i see no reason why disputes of any kind would be necessary

-Talents leave for this SOME variation, but are to be almost exactly cookie cutter specs, with eveyone getting what is best for THIS group

-Players are to have BOTH expansions, and enough play time

-outside of these hours these toons are not be played

-the server is frostmourne

Players must be available for the FULL 12 hours, afk's are only allowed in the form of short term follows, NO LONGER THAN 15 mins

There are TWO variables still under consideration

1. who plays which spot

2. when to schedule

All this is so rediculus!!!!!!!!

WTF... You expect people to play for 12hrs and only have max 15min breaks, thats just absolutly stupid. Maybe you should "Level" in life before trying to get people to go along with such a stupid plan.

Reading Bust_a_cap's entire post I first see that his / her native language is not English so I give them some latitude there. Secondly I can see that Bust_a_cap must be new to WoW in general just from his proposed group makeup. Thirdly the idea of leveling faster as a group has been proven false since TBC and the XP rate changes were made. Also to even bother instancing pre Wrath is just silly now UNLESS you are doing it to experience the dungeon and not just there for gear and XP. I think that Bust_a_cap probably put some time into his idea and we should not call him names, let him defend his idea and prove to us the benefits of his plan. Lastly I will only say that you want four other people to spend 12 hours a day to play a video game is the silliest idea of them all. No offense but if you have that kind of time to play WoW you should already have a few level 80s already. It only takes people about 48 hours played to make 80 now.

Teek....HOW DO YOU GET TO 80 IN 48 HOURS TOTAL GAME PLAY??!?!?!?!

*bows* Teach me your ways master.

Obviously 48 hours is slightly exaggerated to make a point. Well, not really, think about the first day that Wrath came out. I was only 6 hours into it and bam, "realm first ClassX" messages were popping up. I made 58 to 70 in under 6 hours played time on my DK (Yes, DKs = easy mode) so add 2 hours to that for other classes. So that is about 12 to 15 hours for a DK to level from 58 to 80. For me I actually took my time on my DK and ran some of the instances so it took me about 30 hours from 70 to 80. Now pre Wrath has increased XP rewards for killing mobs (actually I believe it is only for levels 20 to 68) So vanilla WoW may be overwhelming for new players but those of us who have leveled many, many toons through Azeroth we know where to go to quest.

I think that the secret is to group your quests, only take quests that are at max level (no low level quests), and kill everything on the way to complete your quests. Also, always log out while resting to maximize your bonus XP when you log back in. I also never run instances pre Wrath anymore since it just takes too long and the XP is just now worth it. I also try and quest in zones that are a few levels above me. Blizz has made pre Wrath leveling soooooo easy now. I do think that we will see the instant level 58s (like the DKs) for the other classes sometime in the future just to keep us dedicated players from saying "OMG I have do all of those same quests all over again just to level this class now!"

Ah, alright Teek. I understand. I've got a level 57 Orcish Warrior on Cairne, my second toon. I haven't gotten wrath yet, but I hopefully will be shortly. I'm currently working on a Human Priest on Terokkar, because my cousin and younger sister play on the realm.

And from what I've gathered, you're telling me just to quest, and not to worry about istances pre BC or Wrath? Hmm... I don't mean to question you, but my curiousity has gotten the best of me.

By no means skip instances if you want to experience them.... you will regret it in the end if you never run a certain instance. I am just talking about us who have leveled many alts and have seen everything that the pre Wrath content has to offer. If you are new to WoW then do not pass up on what is out there just to race to 80. let me tell you that it's not what you think it is. Why do you think we level alts, at least for me it's because I get bored. Once you hit 80 it is NOT all heroics and raids. You spend the majority of your time doing that same old boring dailys and grinding or gathering for mats for better gear. For me 80 gets real boring real quick.

So, if you are new to WoW take your time, make sure you level ALL of your tradeskills as you go along, and run those instances that are appropriate for your level at least once. If this is your 4th, 5th, 6th alt that you have created then blast your way to 80 and forget running VC once again.
