Curse keeps sending me email updates regarding a mod I don't have in my favorites

here is the email I am getting every few days:

Addons marked as one of your Favorites have been updated!

The World of Warcraft addon BigWigs Bossmods has been updated.
The current version is r4978-release for World of Warcraft 3.0.9

I have confirmed (AGAIN) that I have no mods of any kind in my favorites. I have enable email tracking off as far as I can tell and yet I am still receiving these messages. Please make it stop!

Curse's mail sytem obviously doesn't work correctly. i get mails for add-ons i dont have too, and add-ons i do have, the e-mails come at least a week too late and i get several copies of the same mail everytime. it is really annoying!

Yep, I get messages on a near-daily basis informing me that an addon marked as a favorite has been updated, only to visit the addon's download page and discover that there hasn't been an update in weeks or even months. The only reason for this I can come up with is that these messages are being triggered by *any* update to the project, and that every time an author fixes a typo in his description or deletes an old file, I get a message telling me the project was updated. I have never gotten a message about an addon that wasn't marked as a favorite, though.

Up!

I'd like a follow up on that, the problem is still hapenning and VERY annoying.

Sorry for the trouble this is causing.  I've disabled the favorites notifications until we can figure out what is going on.

One problem is due to people having deleted projects in their favorites, which they can't see to remove themselves.  I'll post back here when I have more information and ETA on a true fix.

If you could all PM me a copy of the email you received it might help me narrow it down.

Thanks, and sorry for the unwanted mails.

Also, can you please PM me the email address the mail was sent to (the original in the case of forwarded mail) ESPECIALLY if its the case where you don't see any favorites on myCurse?

I keep getting an email saying Recount has been updated almost every day.  Removed Recount from my Favorites yesterday and still got an email this morning.

Ditto, I've now had at least 6 emails telling me recount has been updated.

Please could someone tell me how to turn off these emails.  Like everyone else on this page I keep getting emails for old and outdated mods.  I never get mail on mods when they actually get updated.  I have turned off everything email related in my profile.  If there isn't some way to turn this off I am going to have to mark curse emails as spam in my gmail account.  I don't really want to do this but come on.

All the emails I am getting come from noreply@curse.com
