unfortunately it does not work with my addon advanced auctionhouse because the addon contains a folder that has to be placed directly into the Interface folder (which the curse client does not support) and one that has to be placed in Addons folder like usual addons. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Why does it have to be placed directly into the Interface folder? If it's two add-ons, just make two seperate folders in the main .ZIP. If it's referencing things, just update the path to include Interface/Addons

it overides some of the original game frames which can only be done if the according files are placed in \Interface\wordlxml (then these files will be taken instead of those in the games .fdb files). so its not 2 addons, its just the usual addon portion which belongs in \AddOns folder and the altered frame/lua which belongs in \Interface\worldxml nothing can be changed about that. so is or will there be a solution for this in the curse client? i assume my addon is not the last that will alter some of the standard game frames...

is it possible to just manage the addon part with the client and place the worlxml dir by the hand ?
This not really solve the problem, but can delay to get a good response to this problem.

and what would be the benefit of that? i the user has to put in the worldxml dir manually then he can just as easy unzip the archives contents to the runes of magic folder manually... the main part of the addon is in the worldxml folder so if the part in addons folder would be automatically updated this would just lead to incompatible versions of the files in addons and then files in worldxml...
what would be better: if the curse client would notice the folder structure of the archive... if the archive contains a folder named "Interface" it should extract the contents directly to the runes of magic folder and in other cases extract the content to the addons folder.
or another possibility... let the addon creator define somehow that certain files have to be put in another location than the addons folder...
