To end-users: you will find the 2.1.4.3 update to automatically download and install CurseProfiler 2.0.  If you uninstall it, it will uninstall -- but the next time you launch the Curse Client, it will re-download CurseProfiler.  The only solution is to disable the CurseProfiler add-on inside of WoW.

To devs: whoever decided to make CurseProfiler a mandatory add-on for 2.1.4.3 -- reconsider this.  I will not be the only one complaining, believe me.

The Curse Profiler isn't mandatory. Simply click on the Manage Games button in the client, uncheck "Upload game/character profile information", then click save.

The new installer also now has an install component "Curse Profiler", which is optional.
